Medicine of the People began in 1995 and create Native American made products. For the company, “a Native American made product” represents a way of making products that has their people’s needs in mind. It is a way of saying that they can make products that are distinctly theirs. It is about being original, developing products with respect for Native American culture and the traditions that were passed on. It is about finding their voice and creating positive change.
