Pacific Coast Apiary Honey
Pacific Coast Apiary Honey
The central coast is home to a wonderful variety of stunning wildflowers, so our local bees have a delicious variety of nectar to choose from. Which means the honey gathered by Pacific Coast Apiaries is some of the most tasty! Try any of their three varieties:
Black Sage: A lightly colored honey, slightly mild in sweetness with citrus notes. As nectar from a medicinal plant, this Black Sage Honey is spectacular and takes longer than average to crystalize – so it has a great shelf life.
Buckwheat: A very dark, earthy, rich flavored honey. Having a bold sweet start, this honey is the sweetest of them all. With flavor notes of butterscotch, this is a must have for your sweet tooth.
Wildflower: A medium-dark orange colored honey. With a small bitter start, this honey has a very sweet finish. This is a top seller! Quicker to crystalize because of the toyon nectar.
Each bottle is 1lb of honey.
PCA began its operations in 2023 and has successfully transitioned from an initial "small scale" endeavor to a medium-sized beekeeping enterprise. The bees are kept on private ranches which are chosen for the abundance of wildflowers. These wildland settings provide a perfect source for bees to convert nectar into nutritious honey. They are a honey extraction and small batch bottling operation.
